65 Vette Project

1965 Restomod Corvette

This vette had been completed restored to its original state and scored 98 points at a 2011 NCRS event earning it a top flight award.  The only deductions were for paint (this car has a base coat/clear coat) and use of stainless brake lines.  It was a rare 3 speed (less than 400 3 speeds were made) with a 327.  It was also a no-option base model – doesn’t even have a radio!  The transformation is now complete - the car is a true sleeper - looks all original from the outside, but underneath is a awesome driving machine.  She sports a crate LS376 with 480 hp, a tremec 5 speed, viper rear end,  C4 suspension with QA1 coil overs, and baer brakes.  She has some custom replica turbine wheels from EVOD with 17x8.5 all the way around.  A/C and a sound system have been careful placed to not interfere with the original interior look.  And, with those new side pipes and a high performance cam, people turn their heads before she even enters the room.....
