Eleanor Project

1967 Eleanor

Finally finished after a years worth of work.   The body and paint work on this car is flawless.  Every gap lines up correctly, the new fiberglass parts fit seamlessly onto the car, there are no ripples, chips or flaws in the paint.  In addition, every jam, lid, and well has been meticulously finished and she is painted the correct Dupont pepper gray and black.  All new glass and trim was installed including the vent window frames.  The interior has been completely refinished sporting lots of Shelby parts.  The glove box is signed (and is documented), Shelby Classic Instrument gauges, Shelby signature seats, Shelby cobra wheel, and of course the signature "Go Baby" shifter.  All panels were refinished or replaced and the carpet and headliner are new as well.  Under the hood, she has a 351 Windsor with a high performance cam, Shelby valve covers and air cleaner, all cooled by a custom Griffin aluminum radiator.  The engine has been painted pepper gray with black accents to match the exterior of the car.  Behind the engine is a Tremec 5 speed and a 9" rear end.  Underneath, all of the control arms and bushings have been replaced, sub frame connectors added as well as sway bays.  She has Wilwood 4 piston brakes at all four corners as well as a Wilwood master cylinder.  This car is a true joy to drive and turns heads at every corner.
